Children's Ministry at Park View

Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever welcomes one such child welcomes me.

Matthew 18:3-5

At Park View Baptist Church, we believe that when we welcome children we are also welcoming Christ. Therefore, our children's ministry is born out of our desire to provide a warm and nurturing place where all children can grow in the knowledge of God's love for them. By providing a safe place for children to worship, learn, and serve, Park View expresses our concern for including everyone in the work of the church. Through Bible stories, games, activities, and outings, we seek to build a Christ-centered vision for children of all ages to have fun and feel loved. This includes providing a nursery on Sunday mornings for bed babies and toddlers, offering Sunday School classes for children aged 3-Grade 5, including a children's sermon as part of our 11:00 worship service every week, and offering Wednesday night children's activities. Some of the places our children have been on outings include the Virginia Beach Aquarium, the Great Bridge Pumpkin Patch, and watching a performance of Charlotte's Web at the CNU Ferguson Center. We also have regular events for the children like the Easter Egg Hunt, the St. Nicholas Party, and Vacation Bible School.
